For Parents

Why You Should Attend

As parents, we teach our kids to be kind. But we also need to teach them how to stay safe.

At this workshop, kids will learn simple safety lessons in a fun and friendly way. They'll role play, practice using a strong voice, and learn what to do if someone makes them feel unsafe.

Did You Know?

3,0005,000

Non-family abductions reported to police each year

And those are just the ones that are reported. How scary is that? Our children are our most precious asset — aren't they?

Parents, guardians, and adults who care for children face constant challenges trying to keep kids safer in today's fast-paced world. For decades, children were taught to stay away from "strangers."

But that concept is difficult for kids to grasp — and often the perpetrator is someone the child knows. It's far more powerful to build a child's confidence and teach them exactly how to respond to any potentially dangerous situation, than to teach them to look out for a particular type of person.

As a special community service, our specially trained, expert instructors will teach your family how to avoid and escape these potentially family-changing experiences.

Take a moment and enroll in our next Kid Safe Workshop — it might just be the smartest decision you ever make for your family.

See you there!
